Not to be confused with The Rifleman actor Johnny Crawford
Film Deaths:[]
- Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952) [Roth]: Killed when his Martian rocket ship crashes after it is hit by an air to air missile.
- Solomon and Sheba (1959) [Joab]: Killed/stabbed by Yul Brynner's men after Yul kills George Sanders, and John starts to attack.
- Hell is A City (1960) [Don Starling]: At the end of the film a newspaper board reads" Starling to Hang" and we see a clock for 9am and the tolling of the prison bell as he is hanged for the murder of Lois Daine. (Thanks to Brian)
- The Poseidon Adventure (1972) [Chief Engineer]: Presumably killed when the ship capsizes as he's presumably in the engine room. (no one is seen alive in it when the survivors enter, so it's safe to say he died).
TV Deaths:[]
- Combat!: Cry in the Ruins (1965) [Capt. Werner]: After being seriously injured in an artillery bombardment of the French town he regains consciousness to find William Smithers and Rick Jason had formed a temporary truce between the Americans and Germans to help a French woman (Lisa Pera) find her baby that was trapped under the rubble. When John holds a submachinegun on the Americans he is pulled off his feet by Glenn Cannon who was in the uncovered cellar. The trauma of the fall finished John off.
- The Time Tunnel
- Gunsmoke: Johnny Cross (1968) [Yates]: Shot dead, along with Harry Dean Stanton, by James Arness as they are about to kill Shug Fisher in his cabin. (Thanks to Brian)
- Mission: Impossible: The Puppet (1972) [Paul Ostro]: Shot to death by his brother (Roddy McDowall).
