- The Godfather Part II (1974) [Fredo Corleone]: Shot in the back of the head by Richard Bright (acting on Al Pacino's orders) while in a rowboat out on the lake; the camera cuts away just before Richard fires, but the gunshot is heard and John is seen lying dead in the next scene. - Dog Day Afternoon (1975) [Sal]: Shot in the head by Lance Henriksen after John points his gun upwards in the back seat of the car. (Thanks to Robert)
