Film Deaths:
- Ride the High Country (Guns in the Afternoon) (1962) [Elder Hammond]: Shot in the chest by Joel McCrea during the big shoot-out.
- Day of the Evil Gun (1968) [Captain Jefferson Addis]: Shot to death by Arthur Kennedy when John tries to steal the last of the horses. (Thanks to Brian)
- The Specialist (1975) [Pike Smith]: Shot several times in the chest by Adam West outside the courthouse.
- The Lincoln Conspiracy (1977) [Abraham Lincoln]: Shot in the head by Bradford Dillman while sitting in the balcony at the theatre. (It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, so I can't recall for certain whether the assassination was actually depicted on-screen.)
TV Deaths:
- Backstairs at the White House (1979; miniseries) [President Franklin Delano Roosevelt]: Dies of a cerebral hemorrhage. (I have not seen this mini-series, so I don't know whether his death was actually depicted or only mentioned.)
