- The Face of Fu Manchu (1965) [Mathius]: Killed (off-screen) by Christopher Lee's henchmen, his body was found later in the morning by a policeman.
- Straw Dogs (1971) [Chris Cawsey]: Beaten to death with a poker by Dustin Hoffman. His body is shown again later on lying on the floor when Susan George sees him.
- Memoirs of an Invisible Man (1992) [Dr. Bernard Wachs]: Murdered off-screen by Sam Neill and made to look like he had a heart attack. His death is confirmed with the front page of a news paper.
- National Theatre Live: Hamlet (2015) [Polonius]: Details needed.
- The Boy (2016) [Mr. Heelshire]: Commits suicide (off-screen), along with his wife Diana Hardcastle, when they weigh down their coats with rocks and walk into a lake until they drown.

- Babylon 5: Confessions and Lamentations (1995) [Dr. Lazerenn]: Dies of the Drafa plague (which eventually wipes out his entire race) in the Medlab (Jim was wearing alien makeup for this role).
