Film Deaths[]
- War and Peace (1956) [Nikolai Rostov] Dies of several stab wounds, from holding off multiple soldiers to help Audrey Hepburn escape, he spends his final moments talking to her, while lying in a bed.
- The Picture of Dorian Gray (1976) [Basil Hallward] Killed after being stabbed by Peter Firth after the changed, grotesque portrait of Peter is revealed to Jeremy, revealing his immoral and hedonistic lifestyle. Peter stabs Jeremy as he sees him as a threat against his secret - that the portrait continues to grow old, revealing his character, whilst Peter remains youthful and beautiful.
- The Medusa Touch (1978) [Edward Parris]: Killed in a car crash (off screen), along with Marie-Christine Berrault due to the telekinetic powers of Richard Burton.
- Macbeth (1981) [Macbeth]: Presumably killed in a swordfight with Simon MacCorkindale. (I haven't seen it myself, but we all know the story).
