TV Deaths[]

  • Game of Thrones: Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things (2011) [Ser Hugh of the Vale]: Killed in a jousting tournament with Conan Stevens when Conan's lance misses Jefferson's shield and shatters on his breastplate, sending a wooden shard through his throat. The show implies that Conan (a Lannister Bannerman) killed him deliberately to silence him about John Standing's death. His body is shown in the next episode The Wolf and the Lion, as Sean Bean and Ian McElhinney watch on the prepared for his burial.
  • Vikings: Warrior's Fate (2015) [Torstein]: After Jefferson is wounded in the arm by a Saxon archer in a previous episode Mercenary, his arm has to be amputated in the following episode, The Wanderer. Knowing his life as a warrior is over he follows the Norse army to the last stronghold of the Mercian army on top of a great hill. With Travis Fimmel's permission, Jefferson tops the hill alone to distract the Saxons as the rest of the Viking force make their way to the ridge. As a result Jefferson is then stabbed through the stomach, on top of being shot with a couple of arrows, allowing him to die with honor in battle. His body is then shown later in the episode, as his friend Gustaf Skarsgård laments over him.
  • Barbarians Rising E1 Pt 2: Resistance (2016) [Viriathus]: Assassinated by his treacherous bodyguards led by Radu Andrei Micu, they stab him to death. (Thanks to Brian)
