- Digimon Adventure: Trash Day (2000; anime) [Cherrymon]: Blasted by Puppetmon (David Lodge) with his Puppet Pummel attack after warning him not to underestimate the DigiDestined.
- Trigun: Paradise (2001; anime) [Nicholas D. Wolfwood]: Shot by Chapel the Evergreen (Dan Woren), who was telekinetically controlled by Legato (Richard Cansino). After a final meeting with Vash (Johnny Yong Bosch), he stops at a church, where he cryptically rambles on his inability to atone for his mistakes, dying from blood loss shortly thereafter.
