Plot Summary

In the Florida countryside, a teenage girl named Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips) and her brother Darry (Justin Long) are driving home from college during spring break. As they drive through the countryside, they encounter an old rusty 1941 truck, and later, the mysterious driver (Jonathan Breck) dumps what looks to be bodies wrapped in bloody sheets down a sewer pipe next to an old church. Investigating the pipe to see what was dumped down there, Darry accidentally slides down and finds hundreds of dead bodies covering the walls and ceiling. The siblings then realize that their pursuer is not a just a normal man, but an ancient flesh-eating creature known as the "Creeper", which awakens every 23rd spring, for 23 days to feast on human body parts, which then regenerate parts of its own body.
