Miss Meadows (2014) [Mother Meadows]: Shot to death in a drive-by shooting as her daughter (Anna Moravcik) watches. She is seen several times in the film having phone conversations with her daughter (now played by Katie Holmes) but these are revealed to be happening solely in Katie's head.
The Accountant (2016) [Rita Blackburn]: Shot in the head (off-screen) by Jon Bernthal. We see her body when Ben Affleck discovers it in her house.
Babylon (2022) [Elinor St. John] Her death is revealed in a newspaper announcement during a montage showing the fate of several characters several years after the story

Hawaii Five-O: Oia'i'o (2011) [Governor Pat Jameson]: Shot in her chest by Mark Dacascos. (Thanks to NZ)
Fargo: The Castle (2015) [Floyd Gearhardt]: Stabbed in her lower chest by Zahn McClarnon while her son Angus Sampson looks on in horror. Her body is shown again in the episode Palindrome.
