- King David (1985) [Absalom] Sliced with a sword after getting stuck in a tree after he crashes into it.
- Europa (1991) [Leopold Kessler]: Drowns as the train (derailed by a bomb that he set) sinks into a river. His death (and entire experience) is narrated to him in the second-person by Max von Sydow, so it may very well be that neither Leopold's death nor any of the events portrayed actually happened, but were in fact the dreams or visions of a patient under hypnosis.
