- Cheers: Death Takes a Holiday on Ice (1989) [Eddie LeBec]: Jay doesn't actually appear in this episode (his last appearance was in the episode Call Me, Irresponsible; also 1989), but it's revealed that his character was killed when he is struck by an out of control Zamboni machine during an ice show (off-screen) after pushing Thomas Haden Church to safety. (this character 'death' was done due to Jay's dismissal from the series, due to a real-life controversial comment he made).
- Killing Mr. Griffin (1997; TV film) [Mr. Griffin]: Dies of heart failure (I've never seen this film, so I don't know any other details).
