- Hanky Panky (1982) [Katz]: Dies in an explosion on a helicopter along with Richard Widmark, Josef Sommer, and Johnny Sekka after Gene Wilder throws a torch at a gas truck as the helicopter got near.
- The Day After Tomorrow (2004) [Frank Harris]: Falls to his death/sacrifices himself when he cuts the wire attached to his friends, after falling through the glass roof of a frozen shopping mall. (Rather than have his weight break the window and pull them (Dennis Quaid and Dash Mihok) to their deaths as well.)

- Crime Story: Last Rites (1988) [Steve Kordo]: Thrown out of Anthony Denison's penthouse window by Andrew Dice Clay as Jay was about to shoot Denison.
- Person of Interest: God Mode (2013) [Special Counsel]: Shot to death by Boris McGiver on Camryn Manheim's orders.
- True Detective: The Secret Fate of All Life (2014) [Billy Lee Tuttle]: Is revealed to have been killed by cult members in the time gap between 1995 and 2012. (Note: While it's unknown whether he was killed or committed suicide, it's strongly suggested to be the latter.)
