- They Live by Night (1948) [T-Dub]: Shot to death (off-screen) by police while escaping during a bank robbery; we only hear of his death on the radio when Farley Granger and Howard Da Silva are listening to it.
- Devil's Canyon (1953) [Captain of guards, Jack Wells]: He himself becomes a prisoner during a mass breakout at the prison and is gunned down by Stephen McNally in the warden's office. (Thanks to Brian)
- The Killing (1956) [Marvin Unger]: Shot to death (off-camera) in the crossfire of a shoot-out between Elisha Cook Jr. and Vince Edwards in the gang's hideout; his body is shown in the aftermath of the shoot-out.
