TV Deaths[]
- The Singing Detective (1986 miniseries) [Schoolteacher/Scarecrow]: Presumably dies (off-screen) of old age/natural causes, at some point between Michael Gambon's childhood flashbacks and the present-day sequences. (I can't recall whether her death was mentioned in the dialogue, but considering the amount of time that passes, it seems likely.)
- Doctor Who: The Curse of Fenric (1989) [Miss Hardaker]: Drained of blood (off-screen) by Joanne Bell and Joann Kenny; the scene ends as Joanne and Joann close in on her. Her body is shown afterwards when Sophie Aldred and Sylvester McCoy discover her.
- Marple: Endless Night (2013) [Mrs. Lee]: Pushed into a quarry and drowned by Tom Hughes and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen.
- Doctor Who: Mummy on the Orient Express (2014) [Mrs. Pitt]: Energy drained by a mummy (whom only she can see) on a space train.
- Father Brown: The Daughters of Jerusalem (2014) [Vera Thimble]: Stabbed in the chest with a hatpin (off-camera) by Justin Edwards in her living room; the scene cuts away as Janet screams just before he strikes, and her body is shown afterwards when Nancy Carroll and Sorcha Cusack arrive and discover her.
