- The Chase (1966) [Jason 'Jake' Rogers]: Fatally injured after part of a car falls on him during an explosion in a junkyard. He dies (off-screen) in the hospital shortly afterwards. We only learn of his death when E.G. Marshall walks out of the hospital and gives Jane Fonda the bad news. (Thanks to Spiderman)
- Performance (1970) [Chas]: Presumably shot to death (off-screen) by Johnny Shannon's men; the film ends with him being driven away by Johnny and his men.
- The Remains of the Day (1993) [Lord Darlington]: Dies (off-screen) presumably of natural causes at some point during the passage of time between the film's "chapters".
- Jinnah (1998) [Lord Louis Mountbatten] Dies during the passage of time off-screen via being assassinated. He appears as a spirit talking to Christopher Lee in the afterlife during a heavenly court case.
- Sexy Beast (2000) [Harry]: Shot in the head by Ian McShane after James invites Ian and Ray Winstone into his living room.
- Sherlock Holmes (2009) [Sir Thomas Rotheram]: Drowns in a bathtub and is murdered by Mark Strong. His body is shown afterwards when Robert Downey Jr. arrives at the scene with other people.

- Utopia: Season 1, Episode 6. (2013) [The Assistant]: While leaning closer to Oliver Woollford, he is stabbed in the jugular with a broken plastic shard.
