- Eraserhead (1977) [Henry Spencer]: Probably killed (along with everyone else) when the world is (by implication) destroyed; the movie ends with Jack embracing Laurel Near, then suddenly fades to black.
- Ghoulies (1984) [Wolfgang]: Killed in a duel of magic with Michael Des Barres.
- Blue Velvet (1986) [Paul]: Shot to death off-screen when the police attack Dennis Hopper 's hideout. We simply see shots firing from a window by the gang, and the firing stop after the police barrage the building with gunfire.
TV Deaths:[]
- Twin Peaks: Beyond Life and Death (1991) [Pete Martell]: Killed in an explosion, along with Dan O'Herlihy and Ed Wright, when a bomb in David Warner's safety deposit box goes off (their status, and that of Sherilyn Fenn was left as a cliffhanger in the final episode, however, in the 2017 sequel, it was confirmed that Jack, Dan and Ed were killed while Sherilyn survived the blast).
