- Shrooms (2007) [Jake]: Axed in the back of the head by Lindsey Haun.
- Outlander (2008) [Wulfric]: Fatally injured in a battle with the Moorwen; he dies shortly afterwards while talking to James Caviezel and Sophia Myles. His body is shown again afterwards being prepared for a funeral pyre and then set on fire. (Thanks to ND)
- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) [Royce King]: Killed (off-screen, exact method unclear) by Nikki Reed in the 1930s in a flashback when Nikki tells her story to Kristen Stewart; the scene ends with Nikki bursting into the room where Jack is cowering.
- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) [Mr. Wickham]: Dies after being bitten by a zombie off-screen some time before the beginning of the movie, only to return as a zombie himself. This is revealed after Sam Riley impales him with his sword during a fight, ripping Jack's shirt and revealing his zombie bite. (Jack survives the movie as a zombie)
- The Yellow Birds (2017) [Sergeant Sterling]: Commits suicide by shooting himself under the chin while he's sitting in his car.

- Boardwalk Empire: Farewell Daddy Blues (2013) [Richard Harrow]: Bleeds to death alone under the pier after being shot by one of Jeffrey Wright's men during a failed hit on Jeffrey.
