Film Deaths[]
- Madeleine (1950) [Pierre Emile L'Anglier]: A recreation of an actual event, he dies in his bed of arsenical poisoning. His former lover Madeleine Smith (Ann Todd) is prosecuted for his murder, her defence is he committed suicide. In a result unique to the Scottish legal system the verdict is 'not proven' - she is neither guilty nor not guilty.
- André and Ursula (1955) (André und Ursula) [André Duval]: Killed by an injury caused by a bullet that hit him during his time as a soldier in WW2.
- Daniella by Night (1961) [Count Castellani]: Killed (off-screen, exact method unclear by two of his fellow spies in his office. His body is shown afterwards sitting at his desk, posed to look as though he's still alive, when Elke Sommer enters; it isn’t apparent that he’s dead until Danik Patisson takes the cigarette from his hand and causes him to fall forward.
- Rings of Fear (Enigma Rosso) (1978) [Chief Inspector Louis Roccaglio] Commits suicide by jumping off a dam.
