Film Deaths[]
- The Story of Adele H (L'histoire d'Adèle H.) (1975) [Adèle Hugo] The narration at the end of the film informs us that she died in 1915.
- The Bronte Sisters (1979) [Emily Bronte]: Dies of tuberculosis.
- Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) [Lucy Harker]: Bitten on the throat and drained of blood by Klaus Kinski, after she willingly sets herself out as bait to trick him into remaining past sunrise. She dies immediately after Klaus does. (See also Greta Schroeder in the 1922 version.)
- Possession (1981) [Anna/Helen]: Playing a dual role, "Anna" commits suicide by shooting herself in the back (thus also shooting Sam Neill through her own body) on a staircase, after they've both been wounded when the police open fire. (Her other role, "Helen", survives the movie.)
- Antonieta (1982) [Antonieta Rivas Mercado]: Commits suicide by shooting herself in a church.
- Deadly Circuit (Mortelle Randonnee; Deadly Run) (1983) [Catherine Leiris]: Commits suicide by driving off the edge of a parking garage while being chased by police. (See also Ashley Judd in the 1999 remake Eye of the Beholder.)
- Adolphe (2002) [Ellenore]: Dies of an unspecified illness; her body is shown lying on her deathbed when her lover (Stanislas Merhar) arrives.
