- The Amityville Horror (2005) [Jodie DeFeo]: Shot in the head (off-screen) by her brother Ronald DeFeo Jr. (Brendan Donaldson). We see Brendan lifting the gun towards Isabel while she's in the closet and see the gun flash across the infamous windows of the Amityville house. Isabel returns as a ghost throughout the film. (On a historical note, there never was a Jodie DeFeo killed during the 1974 murder of the DeFeo family, all the members of the DeFeo family where found face down in bed unlike the fictional Jodie, and Jodie in the original accounts of the Lutz family was actually a demonic pig that befriended their daughter).
