- Gunaah (2002) [Digvijay Pandey]: Shot to death by Dino Morea.
- The Namesake (2006) [Ashoke]: Dies of a heart attack while hospitalized (off-screen); his death is revealed when Christie Moreau informs his wife (Tabu) during a phone call. His body is later shown when his son (Kal Penn) sees him in a morgue.
- Tulsi (2008) [Suraj]: Stabbed to death by Yashpal Sharma.
- The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) [Rajit Ratha]: Although he survives the actual film, there is a deleted scene where his head is bitten off by Rhys Ifans (off-screen); the scene ends with Rhys lunging at Irrfan.
- Jurassic World (2015) [Simon Masrani]: Killed in an explosion when Pteranodons cause his helicopter to crash, during a chase after the Indominus rex breaks their fence.
- Inferno (2016) [Harry Sims]: Stabbed to death by Felicity Jones.
