- Pokémon the Movie: Arceus and the Jewel of Life (2009; anime) [Ash Ketchum's Pikachu]: Is erased from existence when Tom Wayland is very nearly killed by "silver water", therefore having no reason to have gone back in time; is later brought back into existence from the combined efforts of Dan Green and Sarah Natochenny saving Tom.
- Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction (2014; anime) [Ash Ketchum's Pikachu]: Turns to stone in Sarah Natochenny's arms after being grazed by Yveltal's Oblivion Wing. Is later brought back to life by Xerneas.
TV Deaths[]
- Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Princess Kakyuu Perishes! Advent of Galaxia (1996; anime) [Sailor Tin Nyanko]: Killed by Sailor Galaxia (Mitsuko Horie) when she takes away her remaining bracelet, to the horror of everyone present.
- Pokémon Indigo League: The Tower of Terror (1998; anime) [Ash Ketchum's Pikachu]: Is crushed to death under a chandelier, along with Veronica Taylor, after diving into the floor through which the Gastly evolutionary line disappears, then both have their souls pulled out by Ted Lewis. They are later resurrected when their souls are placed back into their bodies.
