- Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) [Quartemaster]: Dies, off-screen, some time before the start of the movie, and then zombified. Later he dies off-screen, when Ian McShane dies.

- Cracker: To Say I Love You (1993) [DS George Giggs]: Murdered offscreen by Andrew Tiernan and Susan Lynch. His body is found at a railway line.
