- Michael Collins (1996) [Belfast Detective]: Dies in an explosion from a car bomb.
- The Boxer (1997) [Reggie Bell]: Dies in a car bomb set up by the IRA.
Television Deaths[]
- Blind Justice (1994) [Father Malone]: Shot to death during a shootout by Armand Assante.
- Hornblower: Loyalty (2003) [Captain Charles Hammond]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head with a flintlock pistol, in the aftermath of a defeat and the death of his nephew (Christian Coulson). He was to be arrested by Ioan Gruffudd and hanged for his crimes, but kills himself before this can happen.
- Game of Thrones: Sons of the Harpy (2015) [Ser Barristan Selmy]: Stabbed multiple times by members of the Sons of the Harpy during an ambush. Although Jacob Anderson tries without success to wake him up, his body seen in the next episode as Emilia Clarke and Nathalie Emmanuel watch his body.
- Barbarians Rising E1 Pt 2: Resistance (2016) [Tagus]: Killed by a Roman soldier who stabs him in the back as the Lusitanians overwhelm the Romans in the Battle of Tribola.
- Alfie: Redwater: Episode 1 (2017) [Lance Byrne]: Drowned by Oisín Stack.
- Doctor Who: The Timeless Children (2020) [Ko Sharmus]: Shot repeatedly with energy blasts by the Cybermen (voice of Nicholas Briggs) on Sacha Dhawan's orders; he dies after activating the death particle to kill Sacha, destroying the entire palace and seemingly killing Sacha as a result.
