Ian Hart (1964 -)
Film Deaths[]
- Enemy of the State (1998) [Bingham]: Shot to death by Tom Sizemore's men during a shootout.
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone) (2001) [Professor Quirinus Quirrell]: Disintegrates into ashes after being touched by Daniel Radcliffe on the hand and then on the face, due to a protection spell cast over Daniel by his mother (Geraldine Somerville).
- Finding Neverland (2004) [Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]: Dies (off-screen) of a heart attack, several years after the movie ends.
Television Deaths[]
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Asset (2013) [Dr. Franklin Hall]: Seemingly dies when Clark Gregg shoots the glass floor beneath him, causing Ian to fall into a large amount of Gravitonium, which swallows him. His hand is shown to reach out of the Gravitonium at the end of the episode, but he does not seem to survive. Later episodes indicate that his mind survived inside the Gravitonium, as Adrian Pasdar seems to hear his voice when he absorbs the Gravitonium into his body.
- Klondike: Part 3, Chapter 5 (2014) [Soapy Smith]: Stabbed in the chest by one of Michael Greyeyes' men.
- The Terror: The C, the C, the Open C (2018) [Thomas Blanky]: Mauled to death by a supernatural creature (off-screen); the episode ends right before he is killed.
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The End (2018) [Dr. Franklin Hall]: After his consciousness is absorbed by Adrian Pasdar (in addition to David Conrad's consciousness), he is killed along with Adrian and David when Chloe Bennet uses her powers to jettison Adrian into space. (Ian does not physically appear in this episode, but it is established that his and David's characters are living inside Adrian.)
- The Last Kingdom: Season 4 Episode 3 (2020) [Father Beocca]: Shot in the heart by Ossian Perret with an arrow, who had been aiming for Finn Elliot, whom Ian had jumped in front of.
