- Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mama's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feeling So Sad (1967) [Commodore Roseabove]: Dies of a heart attack during a boat chase between Rosalind Russell and Robert Morse.
- Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972) [Harry Ambrose]: Strangled (off-screen) by Vincent Price on a boat; the scene cuts away just after Vincent grabs Hugh by the throat. His body is shown afterwards inside a giant display bottle that Vincent had placed Hugh inside and thrown overboard. (Note: his character is not the same one as Hugh played in the previous film)
