Hugh Bonneville (1963 -)
Film Deaths[]
- Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) [Schiller]: Dies of cholera off-screen. His body is seen when Kenneth Branagh chops of his body parts. NOTE: His cause of death is only mentioned in the work print.
- Underclassman (2005) [Headmaster Felix Powers]: Impaled on a broken spear/pole at the end of a fight with Nick Cannon on a fast-moving speed boat. His body is later seen when Nick jumps overboard just as the speed boat collides into a barge and explodes.
- Glorious 39 (2009) [Gilbert]: Shot in the mouth by an anti-war assassin (presumably sent by or working for Bill Nighy) who makes it look like a suicide. His body is later seen as Romola Garai discovers the police investigating the crime scene.
- The Monuments Men (2014) [Lt. Donald Jeffries]: Shot by German soldiers while trying to prevent them from stealing Michelangelo's Madonna and Child statue.
- Mummies (2023) [Lord Sylvester Carnaby]: Presumably dies in an explosion when the vehicle he's in goes over a ravine. We never see his character after this.
Television Deaths[]
- Murder Most Horrid: Confessions of a Murderer (1999) [Inspector Dawson]: Falls to his death off a cliff top after being bludgeoned with a brass candle stand by Dawn French (during an argument in which he repeatedly insults her) as he has just scaled the cliff face.
- The Hollow Crown: Henry VI Part 1 (2016) [Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester]: Stabbed to death by Sean Cernow. His death is reported to Ben Miles.
