- Krrish 3 (2013) [Krishna Mehra a.k.a. Krrish/Rohit Mehra]: Playing a dual role as father and son, the son "Krishna" is fatally injured in a fight with Vivek Oberoi, ending when Vivek stomps on his chest. He is brought back to life when his father "Rohit" uses an experimental device to focus solar energy into a concentrated beam, with Rohit standing in the beam's path in order to "filter" the beam through his own body, taking the beam's destructive power himself and only allowing enough power through to revive Krishna. Rohit is disintegrated by the beam's power as it brings Krishna back to life.
