- Brute Force (1947) [Robert 'Soldier' Becker]: Shot to death, along with Burt Lancaster, by Ray Teal during a prison break.
- Calamity Jane and Sam Bass (1949) [Sam Bass]: Mortally wounded in a shoot-out with Willard Parker's men; he dies shortly afterwards with Yvonne De Carlo by his side.
- Tanganyika (1954) [Dan Harder McCracken]: Shot by his his brother Jeff Morrow (unintentionally). He dies in Van Heflin's arms.
- Panic in the City (1968) [Dave Pomeroy]: Killed in an explosion when an atomic device explodes with a helicopter he's riding out of populated area after getting exposed.
- The Late Show (1977) [Harry Regan]: Shot (off-screen) by Joanna Cassidy; he dies on the bed in Art Carney's apartment.

- Murder, She Wrote: Deadly Lady (1984) [Stephen Earl a.k.a. Ralph]: Shot in the chest (off-screen) by his daughter (Marilyn Hassett); his body is shown afterwards when a child discovers him lying on the beach, then again in the morgue when his four daughters identify him.
- Knots Landing: Fly Away Home (1985) [Paul Galveston]: Suffers a fatal stroke after an argument with Donna Mills.
