- Resident Evil (Biohazard) (2002) [Rebecca Chambers]: Although Hope canonically survives the game, she can be killed in the following ways: (1) Throat slashed by the claws of a reptilian creature if the player character (Joe Whyte) fails to save her; her death occurs on screen if the player remains in the room where the creature attacks her or off-screen if the player exits the room. (2) Impaled on the claws of a bioweapon while fighting it with Joe. (See also Lynn Harris in the 1996 version.)
