- Blue Spring (Aoi haru) (2001) [Aoki]: Commits suicide by jumping off the school roof.
- Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai (Ichimei) (2011) [Hayatonosho Matsuzaki]: While he is still alive at the end of the film he is ordered to commit seppeku and is shown being prepared to commit the act.
- Beyond Outrage (Autoreiji: Biyondo) (2012) [Shima]: Shot to death off-screen. His body is later shown when Takeshi Kitano sees it in a pile of garbage.
- Gintama (2017) [Nizo Okada]: Dissolves into nothing after being sliced with a sword by Shun Oguri .
