Film Deaths[]
- Foreign Correspondent (1940) [Stephen Fisher]: Drowned after he lets go of the wing of the crashed airplane and goes into the water, sacrificing himself so that the other survivors can safely use the wing as a life raft.
- The Little Foxes (1941) [Horace Giddens]: Suffers a heart attack while Bette Davis deliberately withholds his medicine; he dies shortly afterwards.
- Angel Face (1952) [Mr. Charles Tremayne]: Killed in a car crash, along with Barbara O'Neil when Barbara steps on the gas pedal sending their car over a cliff. (Jean Simmons later admits to rigging the car for that to happen).

- Alfred Hitchcock Presents: A Bottle of Wine (1957) [Judge Connors]: Shot to death by Robert Horton, after Herbert falsely claims that he'd poisoned Robert (as a trick to make Robert panic and prove himself a coward).
- Michael Shayne: Spotlight on a Corpse (1961) [Collier Davis]: Commits suicide by taking digitalis after getting identified as the killer.
