Henry Travers (1874 - 1965)

Henry Travers before his off-screen death in Mrs. Miniver

Film Deaths Edit

  • Mrs. Miniver (1942) [Mr. Ballard]: Killed (off-screen) by a German bomb during an air raid; his death is revealed when Henry Wilcoxon names the town's losses during a religious service. (Thanks to Mac)
  • It's a Wonderful Life (1946) [Clarence Oddbody, Angel Second Class]: Plays a ghost/angel who died centuries before the story begins; presumably he died of old age/natural causes in bed, as he mentions that he died in his favorite nightgown.
