Film Deaths[]
- Legends of the Fall (1994) [Samuel Ludlow]: Machine-gunned by German soldiers after getting tangled in barbed wire, while his brother Brad Pitt tries to run out to save him. He dies in Brad's arms shortly afterwards (his body is later seen when his brother cuts out his heart to send home to his family).
- Dead in the Water (2002) [Jeff]: Either bleeds to death after being accidentally slashed and stabbed by Scott Bairstow (during a struggle over a blade) or killed in an explosion along with Scott when one of them starts the boat after Dominique Swain puts a flare in the engine.
- Gangs of New York (2002) [Johnny Sirocco]: Shot in the chest by Leonardo DiCaprio as a mercy killing, after being tortured and impaled on a fence by Daniel Day-Lewis' thugs.
- Dead Birds (2004) [William]: Shot to death by soldiers as he runs towards them (having been turned into a demon). His body then morphs into a distorted form as he dies.
- Red Velvet (2008) [Aaron]: Pushed to his death by Jordan Hagan. He falls through a glass window.
- Don't Look Up (2009) [Josh Petri]: Presumably killed by one of the evil spirits or possessed crew members.
- Dear John (2010) [Tim Wheddon]: Dies off-screen from Lymphoma illness, his death was mentioned in a letter from Amanda Seyfried while Channing Tatum reads it.
- Gerald's Game (2017) [Tom Mahout]: Dies off-screen of an unknown cause during the passage of time between the scenes depicted in the flashbacks and the current time. Carla Gugino initially mistakes Carel Struycken for Henry's ghost, meaning that he must have died at some point.
- Doctor Sleep (2019) [Jack Torrance]: In this film, Henry portrays the ghost of Jack Nicholson's character, who died in The Shining.
- Dreamkatcher (2020) [Luke]: Assassinated off-screen by Finlay Wojtak-Hissong, after Finlay is possessed by Joseph Bishara. Finlay cuts off his hand with an axe, moments later he brings some of Henry's fingers in a bag to Radha Mitchell.
- Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023) [Daniel Crandall]: Stabbed in the back with a knife by the revenant Isabella Star Lablanc after saving Forrest Goodluck from being killed by her.
- The Curse of the Necklace (2024) [Frank Davis]: Throat slit by his daughter Madeleine McGraw (possessed by Archer Anderson).
Television Deaths[]
- Happy Face Murders (1999 TV) [Dylan McCarthy]: Presumably killed by the Happy Face Killer.
- Desperation (2006) [Peter Jackson]: Repeatedly shot in the stomach by a possessed Ron Perlman, as Annabeth Gish watches helplessly from the staircase.
- Sons of Liberty (2015 mini-series): Details needed.
- The Haunting of Hill House: Silence Lay Steadily (2018) [Young Hugh Crain]: The older version of Henry's character, played by Timothy Hutton, presumably dies when he willingly stays in the house to save the lives of his living children. He turns into Henry as he joins Carla Gugino and Victoria Pedretti's ghosts. His death isn't seen, but his fate is heavily implied.
- The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020): Choked by the ghost of Kate Siegel while trying to save his daughter. He is brought back to life when Rahul Kohli gives him CPR.
- Stargirl: Pilot (2020) [Charles McNider/Doctor Mid-Nite]: Killed during a battle against the Injustice Society.
- Midnight Mass: Book VI: Acts of the Apostles (2021) [Ed Flynn]: Turned into an undead vampire.
- Midnight Mass: Book VII: Revelation (2021) [Ed Flynn]: Burned alive by the sun after being turned into a vampire.
- The Fall of the House of Usher: The Pit and the Pendulum (2023) [Frederick Usher]: Slowly bisected by a pendulum formed from debris of the collapsing building he's trapped on the floor of, after Carla Gugino causes him to accidentally take a paralysing agent instead of cocaine.
