- The Murdoch Mysteries: Under the Dragon's Tail (2004) [Maud Pedlow]: Presumably commits suicide (off-screen), shortly after the end of the episode, rather than face a lingering death of syphilis. She is still alive at the end of the episode, but in her final scene she informs Peter Outerbridge of her intention to commit suicide before her disease kills her. (As such, it's debatable whether this constitutes a "death scene," but I'll go ahead and list it just in case.) (After playing this role in the initial series of "The Murdoch Mysteries" TV movies, she became a regular cast member playing Dr. Julia Ogden in the 2008 "Murdoch Mysteries" TV series; there is no connection between her two characters in the two different incarnations of the series.)
