- The Osterman Weekend (1983) [Virginia Tremayne]: Killed in an explosion after being trapped (along with Dennis Hopper, Chris Sarandon, and Cassie Yates) when John Hurt detonates a bomb in their RV, this is shown on a television screen that Rutger Hauer and Craig T. - The Land Before Time (1988; animated) [Littlefoot's Mother]: Providing the voice of a dinosaur, she is fatally injured in a battle by Sharptooth (voiced by Frank Welker);, after protecting her son at the cost of her life, she dies shortly afterwards while talking to her son, giving him encouragement to find the Great Valley, assuring him that she’ll always be with him, and telling him (voiced by Gabriel Damon), to let his heart guide him. - The Ray Bradbury Theater: The Emissary (1988) [Miss Haight]: Killed (off-screen) in a car accident; we learn of her death afterwards when Keram Malicki-Sanchez's parents inform him. She later comes back to life when Keram's dog goes to bring her back; we only see her hand on the door and hear her greet Keram before the story ends.
