  • Lady of the Tropics (1939) [Manon de Vargnes Carey a.k.a. Kira Kim]: Commits suicide by shooting herself after killing Joseph Schildkraut; she dies in Robert Taylor’s arms shortly after he discovers her.
  • White Cargo (1942) [Tondelayo]: Poisoned when Walter Pidgeon forces her to drink the “medicine” she had been using on Richard Carlson.
  • The Strange Woman (1946) [Jenny Hager]: Fatally injured when she’s thrown from her carriage and rolls down the hill; she dies shortly afterwards as George Sanders kneels by her side.
  • Samson and Delilah (1949) [Delilah]: Crushed to death, along with everybody else in the temple, when Victor Mature pulls down the support columns.
  • The Story of Mankind (1957) [Joan of Arc]: Executed by being burned at the stake. (I don’t know whether the death was depicted on-screen or not.)
