  • Valdez Is Coming (1971) [Tanner's Outrider]; Blown off his horse with a shotgun by Burt Lancaster, he lives long enough to get back to the Tanner (Jon Cypher ) hacienda and pass on the message "Valdez Is Coming". (Thanks to Brian)
  • The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) [Grey]: Shot in the chest by Robert Shaw after Hector refuses to give up his gun. (Thanks to Tim and Tommy)
  • Leviathan (1989) [G.P. Cobb]: Mauled by one of the mutant leviathan creatures; he is later assimilated into said creature, which is finally destroyed when Peter Weller blows it up with a flare. (There is an alternative scene where he is crushed to death when the deep ocean base implodes.) (Thanks to Michael)
  • Batman; The Mystery of Batwoman (2003; animated) [Bane] Killed after falling into a raging inferno on a large yacht after having fought Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy).
  • Book Of Life (2014; animated) [Carlos Sanchez]: Killed while trying to fight off Chakal's (voiced by Dan Navarro) men; his soul then arrives in The Land of the Remembered as his son (voiced by Diego Luna) bullfighting.
