The Last Boy Scout (1991) [Cory]: Shot repeatedly by thugs in the street, as Damon Wayans looks on helplessly (with her body later seen lying in the street as Damon kneels beside her).
Swordfish (2001) [Ginger]: Fakes her death (by getting shot) at the hands of John Travolta. She survives the movie in reality.
Catwoman (2004) [Patience Phillips / Catwoman]: Drowned or killed in a fall when the pipe she's hiding in is flooded; she is brought back to life by the cats' supernatural powers.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) [Ororo Munroe / Storm]: Impaled in the back by a Sentinel robot during a fight, which then throws her body down the mountain. Her death is later undone when the timeline is altered through the actions of Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, and Jennifer Lawrence.
Never Let Go (2024) [Momma]: Commits suicide by slitting her own throat and neck with a glass shard as Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins looks on. She later appears in Percy's hallucination.

Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999) [Dorothy Dandridge]: Dies (off-screen) of either blood poisoning or an overdose of painkillers (the cause of Dandridge's death has been disputed). Her body is shown afterwards when Brent Spiner discovers her in her apartment. (Nudity alert: Rear)
