- Pay It Forward (2000) [Trevor McKinney]: Accidentally stabbed in the stomach during a struggle when he tries to rescue another boy from a group of bullies; he dies (off-screen) during surgery shortly afterwards.
- A.I.: Artificial Intelligence (2001) [David]: Playing an android, he shuts down after falling asleep beside his cloned mother, Frances O'Connor, after being given one last day with her (his "death" is referred to obliquely in Ben Kingsley's narration). A second model of "David" is destroyed by the main "David" in a rage over discovering his duplicate (it's also indicated that the android was based on a human "David," who died off-screen some time before the story begins).
- I'll Follow You Down (2013) [Erol]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head so that his father (Rufus Sewell) can go back in time to fix the future.
- Yoga Hosers (2016) [Adrien Arcand]: Dies during the passage of time from the flashback he is shown and the present time. Ralph Garman has a memorial set up for him with his picture in his lair.
- Blink Twice (2024) [Tom]: Throat slit and stabbed to death by Liz Caribel.
Television Deaths[]
- Walker, Texas Ranger: Lucas Part 2 (1997) [Lucas Simms]: Dies (off-screen) of AIDS-related complications, his funeral is later held.
- Ally McBeal: Angels and Blimps (1999) [Eric Stall]: Dies (off-screen) of leukemia; we learn of his death afterwards when the doctor informs Calista Flockhart and Lucy Liu.
- The Spoils of Babylon: So Sweet the Bells (2014) [Winston Morehouse]: Shot in the stomach in a shoot-out with Tobey Maguire. (Played for comedic effect.)
- The X-Files: Kitten (2018) [John 'Kitten' James / Davey James]: Plays a dual role as both John 'Kitten' James and his son Davey James. As John, he died off-screen by hanging before the episode, his body later shown to Mitch Pileggi by him as Davey. As Davey, he accidentally sets off his own falling spike booby trap and is impaled by it after backing away from fighting with Mitch.
- The Boys: The Self-Preservation Society (2019) [Mesmer]: Head bashed against a restroom sink by Karl Urban.
- What We Do in the Shadows: Resurrection (2020) [Topher]: Accidentally electrocuted by Harvey Guillen. He is later brought back by Harvey, Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry and Natasia Demetriou to a necromancer (Benedict Wong), who resurrects him as a zombie.
- Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous: Battle Lines (2022; animated) [Kash D. Langford]: Eaten (off-screen) by a pair of Velociraptors that drags him away as he fails to control them (when trying to turn them against Andrew Kishino) due to the chips being scrambled.
- Batman: Caped Crusader: Nocturne (2024; animated) [Anton Knight]: Pushed into a wall by his sister's (Mckenna Grace) super strength, where a shelf falls on top of him. He dies later while talking to Batman (Hamish Linklater).
Video Game Deaths[]
- Kingdom Hearts III (2019) [Sora]: (1) Dies when he gets overwhelmed by the Heartless in the Keyblade Graveyard. He gets revived when he found his body. (2) Fades from existence after having retrieved Alyson Stoner from the afterlife.
