- Kickboxer: Retaliation (2018) [Mongkut]: At the conclusion of his figt with Scott Adkins, Hafþór is strangled to death with a chain.
- The Northman (2022) [Thórfinnr Tooth-Gnasher]: Skull crushed by Alexander Skarsgård.
Television Deaths[]
- Game of Thrones: The Children (2014) [Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane]: Having been injured in his stomach from poisoned spear with the Mantikor venom in his fight with Pedro Pascal in a previous episode, Hafþór falls into a coma and eventually succumbs to his wounds off screen. However, he is brought back in the next season to life by Anton Lesser (on Lena Headey asking), although he becomes horrifically disfigured.
- Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019) [Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane]: During their final fight, Hafþór attempts to gouge out Rory McCann's eyes, only for Rory to stab Hafþór in the eye with his knife. Although the knife fails to kill him, Rory then proceeds to knock both of them out of a building, where they both fall into the burning city below, disappearing into the flames.
