  • Warning Shot (1967) [Walt Cody]: Shot in the chest by David Janssen when George tries to shoot David in a pet cemetery.
  • Flags of Our Fathers (2006) [Elderly John Bradley]: Dies after having suffered a heart attack (not that explicit in the movie but that's how the real John Bradley died).

TV Deaths[]

  • Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Across the Threshold (1960) [Hubert Winter]: Poisoned by his mother Patricia Collinge who is about to drink poison herself and can't bear the thought of George being left alone, unaware he has carefully manipulated her to get his inheritance money. She survives after the police arrive having been alerted by George's girlfriend that he was intending to kill Patricia. (Thanks to Brian)
  • The Twilight Zone: In His Image (1963) [Alan Talbot/Walter Ryder Jr.]: Playing a dual role, "Alan" (who is an android) is destroyed (off-screen) during a struggle with "Walter" after going berserk. His body is seen lying among the wreckage at the end of the episode. "Walter" survives the episode.
  • Rawhide: A Time for Waiting (1965) [Capt. George Ballinger]: Executed by hanging (off-screen) after he kills Larry Ward because he blamed him for the accidental death of his wife and son.
  • Murder, She Wrote: Murder in a Minor Key (1987) [Prof. Tyler Stoneham]: Stabbed in the chest (off-screen) with a tuning fork by Karen Grassle. His body is shown afterwards when Paul Clemens discovers him.
  • The Golden Girls: Mrs. George Devereaux (1990) [George Devereaux]: He appears in a dream sequence of his wife's (Rue McClanahan), having died sometime prior to the series' events in a car accident.
