2001:A Space Odyssey (1968) [Dr. Frank Poole]: Suffocates to death after the air hose of his spacesuit was cut off by the computer HAL-9000 during a collision with a utility EVA pod space-ship. His body is later seen when Keir Dullea goes into a pod to retrieve it, before being forced to release it into space in order to open the ship's airlock.
Firecreek (1968) [Earl]: Shot to death in a shoot-out with James Stewart.
The Wild Pair (1987) [Captain Kramer]: Neck snapped by Charles 'Bubba' Smith.
Night of the Scarecrow (1995) [William]: Implanted with a seed of hay by Howard Swain, after being pinned to the wall by two fireplace pokers. The seed then sprouts out of every orifice of his body until he becomes a scarecrow himself.

Gunsmoke: The Raid Part 2 (1966) [Jim Stark]: Shot repeatedly in the chest in a shoot-out with James Arness.
Star Trek: Where No Man Has Gone Before (1966) [Lt. Cmdr. Gary Mitchell]: Crushed to death/buried alive when William Shatner uses a laser rifle to bring down a landslide on top of Gary as Gary starts to climb out of an empty grave.
Barnaby Jones: Sunday: Doomsday (1973) [Howard Lee]: Shot in the chest in a shoot-out with Buddy Ebsen.
