Fidel (2000) [Ernesto "Che" Guevara]: Executed by a Bolivian soldier as he fires several rounds into his body.
Blindness (2008) [Bartender/King of Ward Three]: Stabbed repeatedly in the neck and throat with medical scissors by Julianne Moore while he tries to rape her (causing him to start a fire in the ward their in).
Casa de mi Padre (House of My Father/My Father's House) (2012) [Onza]: Shot to death during a shootout with Diego Luna and Will Ferrell, causing him to fall down several flights of stairs, while they are rescuing Génesis Rodríguez. He dies as he talks to Will (with his body later seen as Will wanders through Gael’s mansion). (Played for comic effect.)
Vamps (2012) [Diego Bardem]: Killed off-screen by Sigourney Weaver. We only see the headlines on a newspaper front page that he is missing.
Coco (2017) [Hector Rivera]: Poisoned by Benjamin Bratt years before the film begins; he spends most of the film as an undead skeleton and his death is revealed in flashback.
Old (2021) [Guy]: Dies from old age due to rapidly aging with his wife Vicky Krieps, and children Alex Wolff and Thomasin McKenzie by his side.
The Mother (2023) [Hector Alvarez]: Stabbed in the stomach to the chest by Jennifer Lopez.

Maya and the Three (2021) [The Jaguar Triplets]: Killed off-screen during their fight against Lord Mictlan (Alfred Molina). Their weapons were bring brought by Zatz (Diego Luna) to show Maya (Zoe Saldana) of their fate.
