Freddie Jones (1927 - 2019)
Film Deaths[]
- Frankenstein Must be Destroyed (1969) [Prof Richter]: Burned along with Peter Cushing when Freddie burns the house down (and goes into it).
- The Satanic Rites of Dracula (Count Dracula and His Vampire Bride; Dracula is Dead and Well Living in London) (1973) [Professor Keeley]: Hanged (off-screen) in his office by Christopher Lee's minions; his body is shown afterwards when Peter Cushing regains consciousness and sees Freddie.
- Vampira (1974) (Old Dracula) [Gilmore]: Bitten on the neck by Teresa Graves, when the lights are briefly out on a plane. (I can't exactly remember the scene).
- Krull (Dragons of Krull; The Dungeons of Krull; Dungeons and Dragons) (1983) [Ynyr]: Dies after the remaining sand that is prolonging his life runs out.
- Dune (1984) [Thufir Hawat]: Though he survives the final product, there's a deleted scene where he takes the key out of his body and dies with Kyle MacLachlan in his arms.
- Firestarter (1984) [Dr. Joseph Wanless]: Hit in the face by George C. Scott, breaking Freddie's nose and driving his nasal cartilage back into his brain. (George later explains to Martin Sheen how he died).
- The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) [Colonel Villefort]: Killed by Guy Pearce with a shot in the back and then finished off with another shot, all told with a flashback.
Television Deaths[]
- Emmerdale (5th February 2020) [Sandy Thomas]: Dies naturally (offscreen) after falling asleep while watching The Great Escape. (Paula Tilbrook rings up Charlotte Bellamy to inform her of the sad news.) (This episode was done after Freddie's real-life death).
