She keeps his body preserved in their bedroom, where it is shown periodically throughout the rest of the movie.

A Bridge Too Far (1977) [Captain Grabner]: Burned alive in his mobile vehicle while leading a charge against Anthony Hopkins's mem in Arnhem.
