Fred MacMurray (1908 - 1991)
Film Deaths[]
- Double Indemnity (1944) [Walter Neff]: Presumably dies of blood loss long after being shot in the shoulder/chest by Barbara Stanwyck (whom he kills as well). The film begins with him wounded with much of the film proceeding in flashback leading up to the scene. (considering the long amount of time he bleed for, it feels like a safe assumption). (an alternate ending was filmed that had him survive the wound, but get executed in the gas chamber).
- Quantez (1957) [Gentry/John Coventry]: Shot in the leg and then in the back by the Apaches, who eventually jump him and knife him to death as he cuts down the rope bridge over the river to prevent them from pursuing Dorothy Malone and John Gavin.
- The Swarm (1978) [Mayor Clarence Tuttle]: Killed in a train crash (along with almost all other passengers) when the train is derailed by the swarm of bees.
