- Up Pompeii (1971) [Lurcio]: Dies, along with the rest of the cast, when Vesuvius erupts and buries the city. We last see him on the parapet of a partially collapsed building. We do not see his actual death nor his body. It is not clear exactly how he dies, whether it is falling from the collapsing building or covered by ash. The film ends in modern times with a tour guide, also played by Frankie, explaining how the volcano erupted for three days and destroyed the city. (Played for comic effect.)
