Film DeathsEdit

  • Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) [Yoda]: Performing the puppetry and voice of "Yoda," he dies of old age while talking to Mark Hamill. He appears as a spirit afterwards, standing beside the spirits of Alec Guinness and Sebastian Shaw. (Sebastian's spirit only appears in the original theatrical, Laserdisc, VHS and DVD bonus disc releases; the 2004 DVD and later first disc replaces Sebastian with his character's younger self (Hayden Christensen). (Frank would later return to voice Yoda's spirit in Star Wars The Last Jedi).
