Film Deaths[]
- The Deadly Bees (1966) [H.W. Manfred]: Falls to his death from the staircase, while on fire and being attacked by his own bees (due to Suzanna Leigh knocking the attracting liquid back on him) in the burning house.
- Inspector Clouseau (1968) [Supt. Weaver]: Bludgeoned to death by Geoffrey Bayldon while Frank is trying to kill Alan Arkin, while Frank is wearing a mask of Alan's face. His identity is revealed when Wallas Eaton unmasks him and pronounces him dead
- Cromwell (1970) [John Carter]: Hanged by the mob (off-screen) his hanging body was seen later by Richard Harris.
- Neither the Sea Nor the Sand (1972) [George Dabernon] Dies when his car falls off a cliff.
- Shaft in Africa (1973) [Vincent Amafi]: Drowned in a fountain by his 'prisoners' after they break free as he tried to blow them up. His body is shown floating afterwards.
- The Key (La Chiave) (1983) [Nino Rolfe]: Dies of a heart attack while making love or preparing to make love with Stefania Sandrelli. (My memory of this movie is vague.)
- Lifeforce (1985) [Dr. Hans Fallada]: Becomes infected (off-screen) by the space vampire plague, he is later shot beneath the heart by Peter Firth.
- Cthulhu Mansion (La mansión de los Cthulhu) (1992) [Chandu]: After allowing himself to become possessed by the demonic forces, he dies when the house he is in is sucked into the underworld.
- The Pianist (2002) [Father]: Murdered in a concentration camp off-screen.
- Silent Cry (2002) [Dr. Robert Barrum]: Shot in the chest by Clive Russell as Clive takes Frank, Douglas Henshall and Emily Woof hostage.
TV Deaths[]
- ITV Sunday Night Theatre: The Death of Adolf Hitler (1973) [Adolf Hitler]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head in his bunker. (I haven't seen this, but we all know the history...)
- The Black Adder: The Witchsmeller Pursuivant (1983) [The Witchsmeller Pursuivant]: Burned to death when he spontaneously combusts after a wax voodoo doll falls into the fire, as he starts to burn Rowan Atkinson, Tim McInnerny, and Tony Robinson at the stake. (Played for comic effect.)
- A Christmas Carol (1984 TV) [Marley's Ghost]: Dies (off-screen) of natural causes, several years before the story begins; he appears as a ghost to George C. Scott. After informing Scott about being visited by three more spirits, Finlay flies through Scott's open window and disappears into the night.
- Prime Suspect: The Final Act (2006) [Arnold Tennison]: Dies of cancer in his hospital bed with daughter Helen Mirren by his side. (Thanks to Brian)
